Bringing a multiplayer experience to secure document management
Overview
FutureMoney is an investment app that helps young parents structure their family's financial future through small, regular investments. The company is looking to introduce a new feature called the Vault. It aims to further structure the livelihood of young families by digitally securing & organizing their important documents collaboratively.

The Vault is a multiplayer file manager platform that gives families structure around their own important life documents.

None of the investment apps included in the competitive analysis had any file management or storage capabilities. The Vault enhances FutureMoney’s utility and appeal to its target users by further providing financial structure to its user base.

All popular digital vault competitors lacked certain key features. None of them had multiplayer user access meaning shared access among many users. Trustworthy did not include offline access to stored documents and the vault did not have any in-app guidance for their users. By providing these features, particularly the multiplayer access, The Vault can differentiate itself from its competititon

Gap Analysis: The Vault’s analyzes the documents already stored and suggests any missing files such as Wills.
Personalized Checklists : Create personalized checklists for major life events, such as buying a home, having a baby, or planning for retirement.

Expiring Document Page: This feature keeps all their expiring documents like passports or driver’s licenses in one place. Paired with timely notifications, and accessed with a dynamic card on the home screen, users will never miss out on an important deadline

Access and Sharing
Suggested Files by category: This features provides a curated list of essential documents to upload. Categories include medical records, tax documents, mortgage agreements, identification, and legal files.
Assisted Folder Creation : Users receive personalized options of folders creation with account information and best-practice. This ensures easy and intuitive access to documents when needed.
Multi-factor authentification: The Vault’s secures documents by requiring bio-metric authentication and PIN set-up for increased layers of protection to protect from unauthorized access.
Multiplayer Access: Collaborative tools are a mainstay for FutureMoney. The Vault uses trustees as their access circle. Access settings are set up by parent-level users for viewers. This allows multiple users to view, edit, and add documents to the Vault.
